STATION 2
For the second station, we got the participants to wear a disposable raincoat with heat packs attached for two minutes while doing some weighted squats. Through this activity, we aim to simulate the daily working conditions of migrant workers. The heat packs, together with the raincoats would trap the heat in their clothing, representing the heat from the sun. The weighted squats participants have to do would represent the intensive labour they have to go through.
OUTCOMES
To our surprise, many students actively participated in our activity and went through the whole process. Some of the feedbacks of this activity included how "tiring" and "hot" it was which emphasized the success of our activity. Some of the participants even challenged the limits and added weights to the original 3 litre bottles.
