Working conditions

In the migrant worker's situation, their boss will always have the upper hand and hold control over them. As a result, the migrant workers often find themselves being unable to retaliate to any unjust treatment. They fear getting fired and sent back to their own country without any money to feed their family at home.

Discrimination

Another struggle they face on a day to day basis - discrimination. In addition to being blue collared workers, they come from third-world countries. As a result, many Singaporeans do not see the value of migrant workers, proceeding to belittle them and not giving them the respect that every human being deserves.
