MISHOES

Our project has been extremely fruitful, and made both the planners and participants grow evidently. Here will be highlights from both us as planners and what we have observed during the actual day.
Highlights of our project

Personal Growth
For this activity to work out, we had to do extensive prior research on our target group - migrant workers. It was though the research that we noticed how much of a struggle it is for them as foreigners doing labour to be living in Singapore.

Brainstorming & Ideating
We also had to be creative in coming up with a suitable advocacy campaign, hence we trained our skills on brainstorming and product ideating to come up with the simulation activity that we believed to be very successful.

Increased Bondedness

Participation
Active participation was observed in the participants which highlighted how the topic piqued their interest. All of the participants also actively contributed to discussions and openly expressed their opinions on the presenting issues.

Being in the MW's shoes
With the whole purpose of the event being so that the participants will stand in the shoes of the migrant workers, we are glad to say that the participants really empathised with the migrant workers through going through a fraction of what they are experiencing everyday.
