Migrant workers working in the marine shipyard and construction industry constitutes to the blue collared workers. They also take up approximately 30% of the total migrant worker community in Singapore.
Students will be getting a sensing on the direction the activities are heading and also to allow us to get a rough idea on the participants understanding of migrant workers
Students will be putting on raincoats with heat packs attached to them. This is done to simulate the working conditions of the migrant workers and in the process get them to understand how tough it is to be doing labour work
After the activity, participants will then be lead to the last station to analyse the meals of the migrant workers through a slideshow showcasing some visuals of a typical lunch a worker consumes.
Similar to at the start, participants would then go through a post simulation survey to track the effectiveness and gather feedback of the participants.
